About This Opportunity
The Akshaya Patra Foundation is a Bengaluru-based non-profit dedicated to eliminating classroom hunger and promoting education through the PM POSHAN (Mid-Day Meal) Programme. Since 2000, it has provided hot, nutritious meals to children in government and government-aided schools, countering malnutrition and supporting the Right to Education for those from challenging socio-economic backgrounds. It's a Public-Private Partnership with the Government of India and is now the world’s largest NGO-run school feeding scheme.
