<p>People want to explore mountains, and wanderlust is an inherent nature of human beings. Since social media has taken over our society, traveling to various places has become not just a necessity but also a social status. However, amidst this travel frenzy, many things happen that can serve as lessons or warnings for future generations.</p><p>"Pahadinama" is an original play written by Neha Bahuguna that uses humor and satire to present a fresh perspective on travel, tourism, and mountain-related lifestyle. It revolves around four mountain-loving friends who are invited to a tourism fair by the Tourism Department. While their journey doesn`t begin immediately, they share their interesting travel anecdotes at a small tea shop while waiting for the bus. Through their stories, the play sheds light on the beliefs of mountain-dwellers, mountain journeys, the changing times, and the local and contemporary perspectives on water, forests, and land.</p><p>These stories will be presented in a humorous manner so that the audience can easily connect with the play despite dealing with serious topics. Each story in the play features a Garhwali song carefully chosen to complement the emotions of the narrative, allowing the audience to experience the essence of the mountain language.</p>
