Have you ever wanted to move without the pressure of doing it well? Move in a way that feels comfortable to you, your pace, your energy, your rhythm? And find ways to connect to your body that feels natural and safe for you? Join us to dance, walk, shimmy, run, jump, breathe, retreat to the wall, sink to the floor... any way you want to move!
These sessions are not dance or fitness classes. The expectation is not to participate in a certain way or get anything "right". The intention of the session is to create a space to explore self expression through movement through indirect and direct guiding from a facilitator. Identifying and moving as our body would like to naturally, may help in release, regulation, supporting the body and understanding the connection between the mind & body. This session is also not intended to be therapy. You may, however, find some elements therapeutic.
The session will be structured as follows: Introductions Initial explorations of connecting with the group Individual movement exploration Verbally sharing about our explorations Closing
