About This Community
Urban Sketchers Bengaluru is the Bengaluru chapter of Urban Sketchers International, a global movement dedicated to on-location drawing. The group exists to foster creative observation of life in Bengaluru, cultivate artistic community, and share local stories through sketches. It is for anyone interested in art, urban life, and connecting with fellow artists—from complete beginners to seasoned creators. Members regularly sketch landmarks, markets, public spaces, and share their work online and at exhibitions. Their philosophy: “See Bangalore, one drawing at a time.”
What We Do
- Weekly sketch meets (often on weekends/Saturdays and Sundays) at various Bengaluru venues — parks, historic buildings, markets, events, and exhibitions
- Unplanned sketch adventures and group outings
- Art exhibitions and sharing sketches on social media
- Occasional special events and collaborations
