Storytelling Society

BSS is dedicated to the revival and nurturing of oral storytelling traditions in Bengaluru. Formed in 2013, the group organizes events for both adults and children featuring professional storytellers, workshops, story-based games, puppet theatre, heritage walks, and monthly themed meetups. They collaborate widely—with bookstores, museums, heritage groups, educators, and local creatives—to inspire new tellers and listeners. BSS fosters a welcoming circle for everyone interested in the magic of stories, from families to solo story enthusiasts, making storytelling accessible, educational, and fun.
