Shoonya

Shoonya is a non-profit, multi-arts community centre based in the heart of Bangalore on Lalbagh Road. Surrounded by palm trees, it was founded in 2014 by the Ollapally family in memory of Joseph Ollapally. Shoonya is designed to foster artistic, somatic, and creative practices for all ages and backgrounds. The centre offers a nurturing space for learning, collaboration, and community engagement. Their vision is to support growth in the arts and somatic fields through curated programmes, inclusive events, and national/international collaborations. They also provide infrastructure for rehearsals and certified training programmes, residencies, and a welcoming environment for artists and non-artists alike.
