About This Community
BIC is a neutral, non-profit, inclusive space in Bengaluru, aiming to foster arts, culture, informed dialogues, and community building. Established in 2005, BIC creates nearly 400–480 free public programs annually, including talks, performances, screenings, and exhibitions. It welcomes a diverse audience, including artists, academics, and professionals, and serves as an intellectual and cultural hub for the city. Membership is donor/membership-driven, but events are open to everyone.
