About This Community
Bangalore Astronomy Club (BAC) is Bengaluru’s flagship astronomy-focused community, active since 2009. BAC’s mission is to inspire minds and ignite curiosity about the cosmos among all age groups—students, families, professionals, and enthusiasts. Through regular star parties, camping trips, workshops, and large-scale outreach events, BAC provides hands-on telescope experiences with high-end equipment, education on celestial phenomena, and friendly gatherings across Bengaluru. The club collaborates with engineering colleges, schools, resorts, and farm venues, including Chiguru Farm, for immersive astronomical sessions and camping under the stars. Anyone interested in astronomy, astro-photography, or simply appreciating the night sky is welcome.
